Emily is a Morton native. In 2016, she graduated magna cum laude from Millikin University in Decatur with her degree in history. While at Millikin, she received the Scovill Award for overall excellence in academic achievement, leadership, and service. She then went on to attend law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law. At NIU, Emily served as president of the Women's Law Caucus and was a recipient of the Edward F. Diedrich Award, which is presented to a graduate demonstrating a strong interest in protecting the civil rights of underprivileged members of the community. She also received recognition for performing a high number of Pro Bono service hours and received a Certificate in Public Interest Law.
Emily returned to the Peoria area after graduating and has been with our firm since 2020.
